When mixed with water the solution is brown, clogs a sprayer, and leaves brown spots on foliage. The best way to disperse it is by flinging a small broom dipped in it. It does seem to keep the deer away. Spots on stone or other material do not wash away.

I have tried many remedies for grazing deer. They have destroyed countless shrubs and flowers. This is the only product that works. I even used a service that comes in and sprays, but in a week they are back. Be certain to use the product twice as often as suggested for those really stubborn &?X%$# (you know who).

This product works, but the manufacturer can't seem to come up with a spray bottle that doesn't clog in five minutes. It is frustrating. I've given up and just emptied the contents of the bottle all over the place. I've soaked the nozzle and got it spraying again, just to have it clog again in minutes. I wish that they could fix this problem. I would give it five stars otherwise. Forget the smell. Yes, it stinks, but not for long, and I've spent too much money on other products that only worked some of the time or constantly had to be reapplied after rain. So long as it does the job, who cares if it smells. They need to fix the sprayer problem! I'm going to try it in a store bought pressure sprayer, but I suspect that will get clogged too. Someone said to strain it, so maybe I'll do that as well, but I have to protect my plants. Despite deer fencing and all else, the deer still manage to get into the yard and eat down my hostas, among others, and I could just cry to see the damage. Any other gardner will know what this feels like. The product is good enough that I need to keep trying to get it sprayed right, which is why I've not given up, but PLEASE, fix the sprayer problem, and stop tell people to keep washing them. It's not practical!
